4004 - Nature Education and Science Schools Project Accepted

The 16th event organized by TÜBİTAK BİTO Nature Education and Science Schools Support Program, the project coordinated by our TÜBİTAK MAM Polar Research Institute under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Burcu Özsoy—with partners including Istanbul Technical University, the Keçiören Science and Arts Center, the Düzce Science and Arts Center, Gözlüköyü Middle School, the Düzce Guidance and Research Center, and the Midyat Science and Arts Center, has been deemed worthy of support.

As part of the same program, the project titled “The Blue Marble Institute: You Don’t Have to Grow Up to Be a Scientist,” led by Gülhanım Çelik; “The Polar Regions: Our World’s Black Box, Illuminated by Science,” led by Gamze Tuti; “From the Polar Regions to Lake Iznik: The Climate Crisis; Conscious Youth in Action,” led by Serpil Karakiraz; “Let Science Be Our Guide 2,” led by Mehtap Yılmaz—our Institute will provide support through various scientific workshops. In this way, as part of the Institute’s objectives in the areas of education and awareness-raising, polar science will be made accessible to students and teachers in various locations across our country.
