The First International Call for Proposals for the POLARIN Project Has Been Launched
The POLARIN project, supported by the European Union, invites scientists to submit project proposals to contribute to identified priority research topics, to submit project proposals for access to a total of 49 research infrastructures (research stations, ships, observatories, sample and data banks) located in both polar regions.
POLARIN provides researchers with free Transnational Access (TA) to research infrastructure in the polar regions. Transnational Access (TA) can take the form of on-site access, remote access, or a combination of both. Under this call, funding is provided solely for logistical expenses; no support is available for research expenses.

The deadline is November 28, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. (CET), and applications must be submitted via the POLARIN Transnational Access Platform (https://polarin-tap.eu.inkode.org) must be submitted through this platform. Announcements regarding project proposals that are approved are scheduled to be made in mid-March 2025.
