Organized by the TÜBİTAK MAM Institute of Polar Research and the Directorate of Science and Society to raise public awareness about the polar regions, the “Science in the Polar Regions in the 100th Year of Our Republic: Science in the Polar Regions,” organized by the TÜBİTAK MAM Polar Research Institute and the Directorate of Science and Society, received a total of 3,367 entries from 81 provinces. Following a preliminary evaluation by the Selection Committee, 99 works qualified for the finals. First, second, and third-place winners were selected for each of the elementary, middle, and high school categories.

About the Exhibition and Awards Ceremony:
The 99 works that made it to the finals will be exhibited on December 4–5, 2023, at the Davutpaşa Campus of Yıldız Technical University as part of the 7th National Polar Sciences Symposium and the 3rd Polar Festival. An awards ceremony will be held on the same day for the creators of the first-, second-, and third-place works.
