TURKISH TEAM STARTS WORK IN THE WHITE CONTINENT
The Turkish team conducting the 4th National Antarctic Science Expedition began work immediately upon arriving on the White Continent after a long journey. Preparations are complete for the 4th National Antarctic Science Expedition, which will take place under the patronage of the Presidency, under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and coordinated by the TÜBİTAK MAM Institute of Polar Research. The book “Turkey’s Journey to the White Continent: Antarctic Expeditions,” prepared by the Anadolu Agency (AA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Technology and detailing Turkey’s objectives regarding the continent through its expeditions to Antarctica, has been published.
