Announcement of the SC-HASS 2023 Conference

The SCAR SC-HASS conference, organized biennially by the SCAR Executive Committee for Social and Human Sciences, will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2023.

Applications will be accepted from all disciplines in the social sciences, humanities, and arts related to the Antarctic region. In addition, studies from the life sciences and medicine may also be accepted, provided they adopt an interdisciplinary approach.

Applications are currently open.

Application Deadline: February 6, 2023

Announcement of Accepted Abstracts: February 21, 2023

Conference Dates: June 22–24, 2023
