TÜBİTAK Polar Research Institute (KARE) is a national and international research institute that aims to improve Türkiye's competence in polar sciences through scientific research in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. KARE makes a strategic contribution to polar sciences with its multidisciplinary structure, strong research infrastructure and international collaborations.
Within the scope of the studies carried out within the Institute; research, development and scientific coordination activities are carried out in different disciplines, especially in natural sciences, environmental sciences, earth sciences, climate change and engineering applications.
